Dental services for your entire Family!

We pride ourselves with providing family dentistry.  Being able to gain trust and confidence is what allows us to provide incredible family dentistry.

Geneva Family Dental is up to date on the latest technology, providing you and your entire family the most comfortable atmosphere and we try to be as painless as possible.

Digital Xrays

Digital Xays take pictures of teeth so that we can see what is happening between and inside the teeth.  Digital Xrays produce 90% less radiation then traditional film Xrays.  We also have a panoral Xray machine that can be used to see all the adult teeth in children, buried wisdom teeth, and any pathology that may be causing a problem to the patient.

Laser Cavity Detection

Laser Cavity detection uses a low beam laser light to find changes in the density of the teeth which indicates decay or cavities.  This device can find cavities that are very small, requiring a very small filling that may not even have to be numbed!

Deep Cleaning

Scaling and root planning- treatment to help control periodontal disease which is a disease of the bone around the teeth.  A deep cleaning is done to remove calculus or tarter from below the gumline, along with infectious tissue and bacteria.  This treatment will not make bone grow back, but it will prevent further bone loss if prescribed protocol is followed.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns:  also called “caps”  and are used to protect a broken tooth or a tooth with a large filling with little tooth structure.  The tooth is made smaller and the dental lab makes the crown cover out of gold or porcelain which is then cemented onto the tooth to protect it.

Bridges:  Used to fill in a missing tooth when there are 2 adjacent teeth available in front and in back of the space.  The 2 teeth are made smaller and then crowns are created by the lab to fit these teeth with a “fake” tooth connected between them to fill in the space.  It is a fast easy way to replace a missing tooth, but takes diligence in keeping the area clean and free from future decay.

Implants

Implants:  Implants are used to replace missing teeth along with preserving bone.  The surgeon places the titanium implant where the missing teeth need to be replaced.  After healing has completed, crowns or dentures are made to fit onto the implants.  This is a wonderful way to replace missing teeth without having to drill any teeth down in the mouth. Root Canals

Root Canals:  This treatment is done when the tooth is infected and the nerve needs to be removed.  This treatment is painless when the patient is properly numbed.  Root canals are used to save teeth that have damaged or infected nerves and can
be done in one to two appointments.

Extractions

Extractions:  simple extractions are done to remove a tooth that can not be saved. The patient is properly numbed and the tooth is removed as minimally invasive as possible.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures and Partial Dentures:  These are made to replace either all of the teeth or many teeth at one time.  This “plate” of teeth can be taken in and out of the mouth.  They are a quick and effective way to replace many or all missing teeth without spending a lot of money. Sportsguards, Nightguards & Snoreguards

Sportsguards:  Protective mouth pieces that are custom fit to prevent broken teeth and also prevent concussions!  These can be made in your team colors or any custom color you want.

Nightguards:  Bruxism or grinding splints.  Custom made to help patient stop grinding their teeth at night.  This is worn at night to prevent broken teeth and
pain in the TMJ (Temporomandibular joint).

Snoreguards:  Custom made and worn while sleeping to keep the airway open and help control snoring.
