Our Team

Jaime is a dental hygienist here at Geneva Family Dental and has been with the practice since June 2006. She graduated in 1998 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and worked as an assistant prior to that. She has continually taken courses specializing in Periodontal therapy. Jaime enjoys working with people and strives to help them overcome their fear of the dentist. She enjoys the flexibility of her schedule at Geneva Family Dental as it gives her time to be at home with her family. Jaime has been married to Brian since 1999 and has two children. Outside of work, Jaime enjoys working out, taking Barre classes, and walking her dogs.

Katie has been working in dentistry for nearly 20 years. She has worn many hats. Katie loves to promote oral health wellness chairside with innovative dental armamentarium. She is a results-driven type of clinician. Katie achieves her best clinical practice by staying current on continuing education and dental research. She has also written peer-reviewed articles and been published by RDH magazine. Inspired by her orthodontic journey, she advocates for Oromyofunctional practices. Katie is best well-known by her dental patients as a gentle chairside dental hygienist. Serving patients at Geneva Family Dental since 2020. She enjoys a good audio book or a podcast.

Carolyne joined Geneva Family Dental in February 2019. She became a dental hygienist in 2010 and was a dental assistant for seven years prior to that. She approaches each patient as an individual and wants to gain their trust. Carolyne loves getting to know her patients and their families. It’s important to her that they feel comfortable and leave her chair with a smile. Carolyne is married and has a daughter and son.

 
Niki earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in 2015. As a hygienist, she is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and enjoys educating them and working as a teammate to achieve the healthiest smile possible. Outside of the office, Niki enjoys spending time with her son, husband, dog, family, and friends. She loves reading, watching the Bears, Cubs, or Gophers, exploring local restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries, and enjoying live music.

Sonia has been a dental assistant at Geneva Family Dental since October 2015. She graduated from Elgin Community College with a certificate in dental assisting and has worked in the dental industry since 2006. Sonia lives in Garden Prairie with her husband and their three daughters: Eva, Eliana, and Estella. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and runs a cookie business that keeps her busy. Sonia finds great fulfillment in her role as a dental assistant and takes joy in helping patients alongside Dr. Melissa and Dr. Amanda.

Gema has over 10 years of experience in the dental field and is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. She takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy confident smiles. Outside of the office Gema is a proud mom to her daughter and enjoys spending time with family. Staying active and focusing on health and wellness. Her positive attitude and caring nature make her a valued part of our team.

April joined Geneva Family Dental in March 2017 as one of our dental assistants. She graduated from Waubonsee Community College with an associate’s degree and a Dental Assistant certification. She also is a certified Nursing Assistant and coronal/sealant certified. April lives in Hinckley with her husband Josh and sons Reed and Rhett. In her spare time, she loves reading, spending time with family and traveling.

Angela joined our team in 2020 as a dental assistant and is polish sealant certified. She also assisted at the front desk and quickly learned all the aspects of dentistry. Angela is married and has two children, two dogs, and two cats. Angela enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family while watching movies. A fun fact about Angela is that she is a twin!

Dionne “Dee” has been keeping our dental office running smoothly since 2013-and doing it all with a smile! As Office Manager, she’s known for going above and beyond to make sure every patient feels comfortable and cared for. Around here, Dee isn’t just the go-to for answers-she’s the heart of the office. Outside of work, she’s a proud mom of three, a very proud “Glammy” to three amazing grand babies and has been happily married for 30 years. Whether she is juggling schedules or grand babies, Dee always brings warmth, laughter, and a touch of sparkle to everything she does.

 

Rebecca is a patient coordinator at Geneva Family Dental; she recently returned to Illinois from Central Florida to be closer to her granddaughter. She has been married to her husband Buddy for 35 years, and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Rebecca’s hobbies include spending time with her family, reading and listening to music. Rebecca has been working in the dental industry for 10 years.

 
Emily is a proud wife to her wonderful husband, Raymond, and a devoted mother to their beautiful daughter. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she is grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside her mom, Rebecca, and her aunt, Jaime. Emily has worked in the dental and healthcare field for several years and truly values the care, compassion, and teamwork that go into supporting patients. She cherishes the love, laughter, and everyday moments they share—both at home and at work.
